I got home late last night, and a beautiful box was waiting for me under the tree. And you know my favorite part of the gift-this picture! It reminds me of my childhood.

I want you to know I tried the olive oil this weekend and again tonight. I found it's fairly light an therefore flexible-- ditto the truffle oil that will especially be good on vegetables, eggs, etc.
And the vinegar I is killer-- spectacular. I had it on a chilled cauliflower and broccoli salad tonight and it absolutely transformed it into something gourmet and unique.
